Professional Highlights

  • Interned The Carousel Dinner Theatre, then the largest professional dinner theater in the country, during college. Upon graduation, The Carousel created the position of PR Assistant for me. Worked there for three years.
  • Taught myself HTML in 1997 and began working online for clients in 1998, creating sites and forums and monitoring them.
  • In 2008, created an internet marketing plan for the music agency I was (and still am) employed with. Set a goal to be on the first page of Google results for our top two keywords within one year. Reached that goal in under nine months via SEO, starting a blog, creating text and back links, and beginning social networking. This goal has been sustained.
  • In 2010, began working as a Search Engine Evaluator for a major search engine. Duties include measuring the relevance and usefulness of websites in correlation to predefined queries; providing comparative analysis of sets of search engine results.
  • (Fun fact #1) Spent two summers as a dressing room coordinator for House of Blues and Live Nation venues. My job was to purchase everything on the riders of the touring bands and supply them with all their needs the day of the show. Examples include: getting Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler his organic concord grape juice and making sure there was NO green furniture in Ozzy Osbourne’s dressing room.
  • (Fun fact #2) I’m a singer in a wedding band and have done various other shows, such as singing backup for jazz singer Helen Welch, performing as magician’s assistant to world record-holder Rick Smith, Jr., once appearing on stage with Neil Young in his show, Greendale, and working as an extra on films such as Spider Man 3, The Oh in Ohio and 2011′s 25 Hill.
